Dear St. Agnes Family,
This past weekend was the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Also the weekend of the 4th of July. Below is the list of music we used this weekend along with links to recordings of the songs. I’m on electric guitar on this particular version of Taste and See. ValLimar Jansen is on lead vocals. An interesting note – We recorded this at Bias Studios in Springfield, VA. I’d flown straight there from a week long conference in Birmingham, AL. We went straight to the studio from the airport and recorded all night. We didn’t leave the studio until 8am the next morning to go back to where I was staying. It was a fun and great session, but much of it a blur. I’ve included a link to the credits below. The version of America the Beautiful is a wonderfully inspired rendition by Ray Charles. As we celebrate this weekend may everyone stay safe and healthy.
Happy July 4th,
Bobby Fisher, Director of Music Ministries
