Dear St. Agnes Family,
Below is the list of music for this 3rd Sunday in Easter.  In the Gospel, the two disciples on the road to Emmaus before meeting Jesus on the road were likely feeling a combination of confusion, fear, and bewilderment, not knowing what lay ahead in the future, feelings many of us are experiencing during this pandemic.  Jesus had only recently been crucified. They had hoped he was the Messiah.  On top of that they had heard stories that he had risen  from the dead!  It wasn’t until after Jesus broke open the Word for them and then broke the bread that their eyes were opened and they recognized him.  Although we still can’t receive Him physically in the Eucharist may our faith be strengthened in our Spiritual Communion.  And may this faith renew our hope and help allay whatever confusion, fear, or uncertainty we may be experiencing.
